I have always wanted to work, but more importantly wanted to learn about the business I was working in.  I am a lifelong outdoorsman and passionate small business guy. On the outdoors front, I an Eagle Scout, a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School, trained in Wilderness First Aid, a Scoutmaster and has hiked roughly 60% of the Appalachian Trail. I am happily married and the father of four great kids.

On the business front, I have been a retail buyer and store manager,then spent 19 years in sales with a manufacturer of air compressors- the last 9 years I was there I was Vice President of Sales for North America. During that time, I successfully launched several new product lines in the North American market.  One of my passions is teaching- I was responsible for all sales, product and technical training for these new product lines.  I left the company by choice when the company was sold to a much larger multinational company and I’m now having a blast creating, owning and running several small businesses. My wife and I bought DHMKids about five years ago. DHMKids is a company that manufactures collegiate licensed baby clothes and gifts (www.shopdhmkids.com).  I have also started two new businesses that are based on products that I invented and have patents pending for, Invision Mirrors and Dockhand Products. 

Most of all, I am a people person who loves to use my experiences to help others and that is what lead me to begin coaching as a profession and to become a Certified Passion Test Facilitator and a Certified Coach Practitioner. I am a hands on, bootstrap kind of a guy at heart, so I like to learn how and why things work so that I can do many of them for myself and others. For things that are not on my wavelength, I look for great people to help me and my customers.  My adventures in the business world over the last 24 years have taught me many things that I would love to share with you.  If you own a small business, are considering starting one or just want to have a clearer, better life, I would truly love to be of service to you.
